The Guillena Family is in rice farming for years. They started with renting fields on which they produced their rice before being able to buy their own land to farm on. Today there are 3 families working on the farm to make sure, that the rice is of the exquisite quality the guests in Le Bistro felt in love with.

About
Evert Jan Robberts and his partner Analou Suan are committed to eco-farming. They own and run an organic farm in Sinacaban, Misamis Occidental, which belonged to the former wife of Evert, Ms. Francisca Maghuyop. The farmers follow a holistic approach to agriculture starting with regenerating and preserving the soil. The farm has a 250 m2 greenhouse, 172 m2 rain shelter and is certified for organic farming by the Misamis Occidental Organic Agricultural Association.
